James Andrew

James Andrew

Male Est 1700 -

  • Name James Andrew
    Born Est.1700
    • His birth year is estimated from the age of his wife Dorothy, as stated in her burial entry in 1776. He could be the James baptised on 16 February 1702/3 in Goxhill. He had a twin brother William (sons of James Andrew) who was buried 3 weeks later.

or, he could be James baptised on 5th April 1702 at Skidby, the son of Thomas.

or, James the son of Roger baptised at Wold Newton on 17 August 1706. This James is a twin with Elizabeth baptised the same day.

or, James the son of Roger, son of Roger & Isabella baptised 10th December 1706 at Thwing. Thwing and Wold Newton are 2 miles apart so the same Roger cannot be father to both James', although the entry for 10th December may actually be a burial (and incorrectly transcribed) and therefore of the James baptised in Wold Newton above, as it is very unclear in the register.
