In the name of God Amen. I Richard Andrew Of Staithes in the Parish of Hinderwell and North riding of the County of York Master Mariner being in perfect health of Body, sound anddisposing mind memory and understanding, do order, make, publish and declare this as and for my last Will and Testament in manner and form following; that is to say.
First, I assign my Soul to almighty God, hoping for salvation through the merits of my blessed redeemer Jesus Christ at the General resurrection. And as touching and concerning such temporal effects, as it hath pleased the Omnipotent to bless me with in the transitory Life; I dispose of them as follows.
item: I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Alice Trattles wife of William Trattles; the house which is now in the possession of my of my (sic) said Daughter and her said Husband situated in Staithes as aforesaid; which house cost me Forty Pounds of Lawful money of Great Britain. Also I give and bequeath unto my said Daughter Alice Trattles a further Legacy of Seventy Pounds of Lawful money of Great Britain.
Item. 1 give and bequeath unto my Daughter, Mary Burnikell wife of Thomas Burnikell; the House which is in the possession of her and her said Husband; situate in Staithes aforesaid; which House I value at Thirty Pounds of Lawful money of Great Britain. Item: I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Sabra Campion wife of Zachariah Campion the House now in their possession which cost me the sum of Sixty Pounds. I also give and bequeath unto my said daughter Sabra Campion as a further Legacy the sum of Fifty Pounds of Lawful money of Great Britain. All which said three Legacies do make up each daughter the sum of One hundred and ten pounds, as, and for her share; and altogether do make up the total sum of Three hundred and Thirty Pounds of Lawful money of Great Britain.
Also: I give unto my said three Daughters; Alice Trattles, Mary Burnikell, and Sabra Campion, each and every one of them and their and their Families an equal Share or right to a pew or Close seat situated in the Church of Hinderwell in the North Ile leading to the Altar or Communion table: and my will is that they may have ingress and regress into and out of the same; without any hindrance, molestation, or interruptions, whatever by any Person or persons claiming or to claim any right or power given by me to the Contrary nothwithstanding.
Item: I give unto my three sons, Newrack Andrew, John Andrew and Richard Andrew, All that one fourth part with the tackle apparel appurtenances thereto belonging, of that good Ship or Vessel called the Mary, whereof my said Son John Andrew is now Master under God and of which fourth part I am sole and Lawful Owner to be equally divided among them share and share alike with the profits, Advantages and emoluments, and benefits therefrom arising.
Item: l give and bequeath to my Son Richard Andrew two Hundred pounds of Good and Lawful money of Great Britain; besides one third Share of that fourth Part of the good Ship or vessel called the Mary given to him as aforesaid by me: And also my dwellinghouse now in my own possession situated in Staithes aforesaid, and which I hold as tenant at will under the Honourable the Lord Muigrave. But if my said Son Richard Andrew die unmarried and without issue then my Son John Andrew shall have this last mentioned Dwelling House but not otherwise.
All which Legacies above specified I will to be given and paid at the Death of my beloved Wife Mary Andrew should she survive me. And Lastly I do hereby constitute nominate and appoint my beloved Wife Mary Andrew, and my son Richard Andrew, sole executrix and Executor of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all other wills hereto-fore made or published.

A declaration instead of an Inventory of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of Richard Andrew late of Staithes in the Parish of Hinderwell and North riding of the County of York Master Mariner deceased made by Mary Andrew the widow relict and one of the Executors named in the last will and Testament of the said deceased. The said Executrix declares that to the best of her Knowledge and Belief the said deceaced's personal effects at the time of his death within the province of York would not amount to the sum of six Hundred pounds.
