Michael Teasdell was Chief Mate and John died on board at Toulon in the Mediterranean.
The Trinity House Deposition was witnessed by Newark Andrew amongst others.

This Petition of Ester Andrew aged 34 years (now living in the Parish of Easington and County of York) Widow of the late John Andrew, Mariner, sheweth that your petitioner Esther Andrew's late husband, was bred to the sea and served there as Apprentice in the, 'Love and Unity of Whitby', John Andrew Master. In the 'Mediterranean Trade' and in several other ships, Chief Mate and died on board at Toulon, in the Mediterranean.
The above widow has a boy aged eight years and she is of weak constitution. As such, she most humbly prays to be admitted a pensioner of the Corporation at the usual allowance.
Dated the Ninth day of September 1794.
