Sept 6th 1794
Richard Trattles died at 10 o'clock in the morning, abreast the island of Corsica.
This was the period when the Battle of Calvi ensued as the British defended the island of Corsica against the French revolutionary government.
The ship was owned by Newark Andrews and Richard Trattles was his nephew. (The son of Newark's sister, Alice)
