• Name	Jonathan Andrew
  	Jonathan was baptised as an adult shortly prior to his marriage and is described as a Quaker but there is no indication given in the parish register as to who his parents were. However, it is believed that at this time there was only one Andrew family in the locality; that stemming from the marriage of Thomas Andrew & Jane Corner in 1620. It is estimated that Jonathan would have been born between 1695 and 1700, as he marries in 1723. By process of examination & elimination, it seems most likely that he is of the line of Thomas, the eldest son of Thomas & Jane Corner, who was born in 1620. Thomas b.1620 married Ann Marsingale and it is believed that they had several children as listed. Of those children, the most likely candidates for Jonathan's parentage, are John Andrew who married Elizabeth Hart in 1692 and Joseph Andrew, married Elizabeth Dickenson in 1693. There is no stronger evidence to link him to any of the other sons of Thomas & Jane, although we can never be certain.
