19 May 1880 Administration (with the Will) of the personal estate of James Naylor, late of Manchester, in the county of Lancaster, Carver & Gilder, who died 23 June 1827 at Manchester left unadministered by James Stockton one of the Executors was granted at Chester to Sarah Naylor of 28, Sloane Street, Moss Side, Manchester, Widow the Relict the Residuary legatee for life if she remain a widow.

The Will provides for the estate to be held in trust and the interest to be paid to his wife, Sarah during her life or widowhood, towards the maintenance of herself and daughter Ann.
When Ann either marries or reaches the age of 21, then she inherits the capital for her sole use, if her mother has remarried. If she dies before the age of 21, then Sarah inherits all the capital. If Sarah re-marries and Ann dies before she is 21, the the capital is divided between;
James Naylor (Father); John Naylor, William Naylor & Samuel Naylor (Brothers).
Probate was granted to James Stockeston (Stockton) on 17 Dec 1827 but not acted upon. Administration granted to Sarah Naylor (widow) on 19 May 1880. Neither Executor had performed their duty and are now deceased.
